EAT.DRINK.BRISTOL.FASHION

Bristol is one of the BEST places to be in the summer, every week brings a new festival, last week was EAT.DRINK.BRISTOL.FASHION, which saw a tipi village pop up in Queens Square, with DJ's, food, cider and sunshine a plenty. As there is no Glasto adventuring for me this year (que wail of desperation) I cracked out some festival faves for chilling this weekend.

IF I WAS A BOY..

It is all about the slouch for me at the moment.
Usually if the top half is slouchy I go skinny on the bottom or vise-versa. But in a time where I would happily spend all of my time cocooned in my duvet a super comfy pair of 'boyfriend' jeans and a chunky knit jumper help me find my bliss. Coupled with these epic pointed heels from Next which give the whole look a real edgy almost beatnik vibe, don't you think?

L'AMOUR TOUJOURS - LOVE, ALWAYS

Company magazine blogger; blogger of the week;

There is this fabulous block of heritage phone boxes on the Prom in Cheltenham that I have been eyeing up to use in a post ever since I spotted them when I moved here 6 months ago. Usually I try to do my photos in the middle of nowhere as I feel utterly ridiculous trying to pose for shots, emphasis on the trying, as  I always hate the posed ones (I have an unparalleled tenlent for involuntary gurning) and end up using the shots the boy takes when I'm faffing around getting into position.
Nehooo, despite the gawking from half the high street and getting in the way of everyone, I am so chuffed with how the shots came out. Who knew Mustard, Red and Leopard print would be such an awesome combo!

My fave item is my new grey body, I brought it on impulse as I loved the lettering and the combination of the low back with long sleeves. Next I think I'll style it with boyfriend jeans and heels or maybe a leather mini, sneakers and a neon blazer hmmm...
What do you think?

Costal Knit

Just a few snaps from Christmas day. Me and my family always go to the beach come rain or shine (thankfully it was more shine than rain this year)
Christmas day is all about being comfy for me & I'm totally in love with this gorgeous knit, don't you just love the texture.
I usually don't wear pink, in fact, I never do, but I think I may have been persuaded over to the pink-side!
Have you made any purchases out of your normal comfort zone recently?

Simply Said

leather trousers double breast coat

Let me introduce you to my new trews, I don't really know if I can pull them off, but they were an absolute bargain and I kinda love them, so I've decided they do! Half the battle with clothes and wearing new trends is having the confidence to wear them, well I think so anyway. So wear them I shall, in fact have been pretty much every day since they accidentally jumped into my arms when I was supposed to be Christmas shopping! Oops!
Nehoo, I have worn them almost non stop since, I like pairing them with a boyfriend tee and a causal jacket and of course the obligatory beanie. In fact that probably goes for most items in my wardrobe!
