SPORTS LUXE

Just got back from the most amazing week in Abersoch, N. Wales, the weather was unbelievably gorgeous all week. There is a great surf brand called O'Shea in Abersoch where I picked up this great vest, I love the graphic on the front. Paired with a glittery tube skirt and a pair of zebra print sneakers this outfit is great for a laid back day on the beach, and worked great dressed up with a pair of heels and a cute jacket in the evening.

MY RELIGION

A rather large delay between posts at the moment, my gorgeous friends have all fallen desperately in love and I have been spending all my free time at their utterly glorious weddings. This weekend however presented a rare combination of a beautifully sunny Sunday and quite possibly the perfect outfit. 

I am utterly in love with ever single item of this look, so expect to see me mixing-up this outfit in future posts.

DOUBLE UP

Spring is here, summer is on the way but it's still mighty chilly, the answer .... LAYERS! The magazine and fashion bods always say this as if it is incredibly easy to look awesome wearing 50 items at a time   but I never seem to pull it off in a way that doesn't make me look like I fell out of my wardrobe backwards. 

However, I may have had a a moment of brilliance, or I may be delusional if I am please don't pop my bubble for a few more days, the double jacket combo! I love it, stonewash denim jacket with a lovely leather biker. It gives a great collar combo, especially with a semi-sheer white shirt, I think I'm going to pair it with a striped crop and pastel mid-skirt next...

Any other layering combos throw 'em at me I'm on a roll!

COTTDSXCANON OUTFIT ENTRY

The boy was not on hand this weekend, so my gorgeous friend Anna stepped in with her fabulous iphone snapping skills.

Im actually a little bit in love with this outfit. The jacket, I've already shamelessly declared my love for in a previous post and the dress is my 'go to' at the moment as it's got this great boxy shape, BUT, mostly I loved this outfit because I got to revel in the fact that it was hugely impractical to be wearing socks with open toe wedges on a rainy Saturday afternoon! Next I'm going to try some chunky cable knit slouchy socks.

Laid-back Glitter

The festive season is fast approaching and every store on the high street is busting out the glitter, shimer and shine. It's literally like every outfit has been attacked by a Bedazzler! (LOVE IT!) 

I am like a magpie and all reason goes out of the window at this time of year, because I convince myself I NEED EVERYTHING! The only trouble is I hardly ever do anything that requires the level of bling promised by the exquisitely styled window displays. 

I am, therefore, on a mission to incorporate some sparkle into my everyday wardrobe, much to the boy's dismay as I am like a glitter fairy in this skirt, it gets EVERYWHERE, seriously it's a wonder that there was any glitter left to shoot for these photos.

Back to Black

Eeeep! I have been hunting for the PERFECT leather jacket (which also wouldn't completely bankrupt me) and the magic that is Zara must have heard me!

I really like the biker jacket shape but I wanted something a bit more contemporary and I think the singular exaggerated lapel is a great tweak. The leather is gorgeously soft too.

I literally haven't taken it off since it arrived in the post!
